That live stuff is hard to watch. Soundgarden has always been one of my favourite bands and a huge musical influence. To me, their studio work is "Floyd-esque" perfection but any live stuff I've seen has a raw, sloppy, punk rock feel. I have never actually seen them in person.

Ben switched basses pretty often as well as Kim & Chris. They seemed like they could have been a little more connected to the crowd, but I guess they're not in their 20's anymore so what did I really expect?

Great show though & great seats.

Soundgarden's always been somewhat inconsistent live, even back in the 90s. Some nights they're really on, and other nights not so much.

I watched em sound check at red rocks. not as cool as when I was 14. went back to hang with my buddy.

I love the video of Soundgarden playing Pinkpop in 1993 I think, and Ben literally has his P-Bass sitting on his ankles, walking around like he's a monster or he just crapped himself. Classic.
