Chris Squire's 1975 solo release is now available. If you have never heard this you will be floored!! I recommend it to everybody who plays or is interested in the bass.

Do yourself a favor and pick it up.

I've had it ever since it came out! I also picked up an import version from Japan on CD some years back. Classic Squire!

I had the lp, and bought this as soon as it came out. the sound is fine, and the bonus stuff is great to have.

I will always rememebr Christgaus review of this (I think it was him), refering to "Lucky Seven"

something like:

"Yessoid, but in 7 and swinging!"

Actually better than most other prog albums of the era - including YES. Squire and Bruford back together - no offense to Alan White, but Bruford/Squire was always a more inventive offbeat rhythm section.

It's also nice hearing Squire's voice soloed - as unique to prog as Jon Anderson or Peter Gabriel.

You need to get in your car and listen to the last song at top volume on the freeway...truly epic. Squire's bass gets quite thunderous!
