Hey, just wanted to mention what a great job our own Johnny A (staindbass) did on the Howard Stern Show. Staind goes on now and then and plays music so the staff can sing live karaoke. And it's always some weird stuff that's out of their style, but they pull it off great every time.
They had to play "If I Could Turn Back Time" by Cher, "What It Takes" by Aerosmith, "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash, "Ohio" by Neil Young, and "Won't Get Fooled Again" by the Who. The singers were absolutely horrible, but Staind was magnificent. Johnny copped some real sweet Entwistle magic on "Won't Get Fooled Again." These guys can play anything. After putting up with their music being butchered by staff members, they played a sweet acoustic tune from their new album called "Believe."
If you have Sirius, you should give it a listen when they replay it over the weekend. Talented dudes all, that Staind.
