Thought some of you might like to see these since our pal (and fellow Ampeg endorser) Johnny A is killin' it. Looks like he got himself a new rig as well. Don't see the big 70's JBL horns he used to use, and he's incorporated a couple SVT-VR's into his setup. Hopefully he'll drop in to give us more detail on his current rig.

Saw the "Not Again" video..Good stuff. Plus Johnny A. genuinely seems like a nice guy when he posts here. I'm rooting for the new album to do well. Might even buy me a copy!!

Either way, Good to see this TB'er do well.

Today I watched a good 30 minutes of the Making of Staind Documentary...I've got to say, the new album sounds pretty good! I'm going to pick it up tomorrow...

That Staind documentary is brutal, almost painful to watch in places. But the album turned out great so I hope it does well for them.

I lost all respect for Fred Durst when I was a technical advisor for a concert for The Station Nightclub Fire victims and he proceeded to drop the "F" bomb continuosuly during the show. It's not that I was offended by his use of it because I have done it many times, but I thought it was inappropriate given the circumstances.

Fred Durst is not in Staind. He's in Limp Bizkit.

I've been meaning to post this for a while, so this is a good thread for this.

With all due respect to Mr. April, I haven't dug Staind since "I'ts Been A While" blew up. But, I heard "Not Again" on 93.3 WMMR about a week ago and I was blown away. Badarse msuic, and Aaron is being a badarse vocalist again. Good on ya Staind for restoring the faith

Also, since when did Johnny and Mike (the guitarist) have hair?

They sound tight.

Singing in that style is kind of impressive. It must be difficult to go from singing to screaming and back again. He's probably a trained opera singer or something

How the heck do you run two SVTs together? Does one plug into the other?

I am so happy for these guys! Johnny is such a nice guy (at least on the internet, I haven't actually met him in person) that I went out and bought their albums without having heard any of their music, which I never do. They really deserve their success.

Having said all that, I am really liking their latest album, it freaking rocks!
