Stephen Bruner aka Thundercat on new Flying Lotus album

Just picked up the new Flying Lotus cd Cosmogramma, awesome album, one of the best electronic albums I've heard. There are some crazy bass parts laid down by Thundercat on a lot of the songs. I thought his playing was great with Erykah Badu, but on the Flying Lotus stuff he plays some crazy sh*t!

here's a few links

he plays on the most of the songs on the album, go check it out!

people are snorting on Thundercat (even here on TalkBass...that's a shame!)

i guess you've already seen this but just in case...

YouTube - ‪MIguel Atwood-Ferguson Ensemble feat Flying Lotus "Drips/Take Notice"‬‏

you can also hear him play kinda regular bass on Keziah Jones' Nigerian Wood (with Karriem Riggins on drums and production)

No I hadn't, sounds awesome though. Need to pick that up.
This is the song I just listened to:
YouTube - ‪Shafiq Husayn - Lil' Girl Feat. Fatima Stephen Thundercat Bruner‬‏

I like the Avon Barksdale cameo!

I'd never even heard of Stephen Bruner or Thundercat until this morning, reading the daily free paper on the subway, I come across a review of The Golden Age Of Apocalypse, and from the way they described it, wow, I might actually like this guy!

"A natural bassist, Bruner ably switches between syncopated Prefuse 73-style laptop funk, David Axelrod-like orchestral overtures, and the plump, talking basslines of Weather-Report-era Jaco Pastorius to create a third-eye-seeking set of thickly arranged, jazz-fusion-inspired instrumental hip hop...Bruner's love of the stone low-end groove always leads to one."

I mean, gosh, with that many hyphens it must be good!

(I believe that review is by Charles Devilbiss)

I've really enjoyed his album and other work but does anyone know how to score a copy of the Miguel Atwood-Ferguson recording. I've searched the interwebs and other than a few YouTube videos, I can't find anything.
