I am in need of a new bass as I have been borrowing (one was an exremely old Univox with weird strings and the one I have now is a 5-string Samick thats also pretty old).

Since I will be playing in my highschool band as well as with my own band (genre will probably be Chaos-Alt-Metal).

Now here's where Stephen Dail of Project 86 comes in. I need to know waht kind of bass he plays because I like the tone and everything he gets from it. It would fit my band very well and all that.

I looked at both the Spy Hunter and My Will Be A Dead Man videos and it looks like hes playing a J-Bass but hes always in the shadows so I cant tell for sure.

If anyone knows what kind of bass Stephen Dail plays please help me out and post it up. Thanks!

It looks like in 'My Will Be A Dead Man' is a Fender. You can try contacting them: Project 86, and asking.

Great band, I believe that he plays a jazz. Or he at least used to.

Yeah, I emailed him like tbone suggested and he emailed me back today. He does infact play a fender J-Bass. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, he plays a Fender Jazz. When I saw P86 a couple of months ago, Steve wasn't there (I guess he just got married) and the guy sitting in for him was playing a Precision.
