I just emailed the venue and I guess we are going to play with a touring band... I am waiting for all the details, but this might be a heavy one. If it's the same band I think (can't be two bands with such an unusual name), we are going to be the least heavy, out of the three bands that night. If that's any indication, lol.

Hmm... Supervoid in 2013.

Planning on recording our first full length. The material is basically there (with a lot of songs you guys have never heard before), we just need to get to a point where the tracks are "finished" and start working on details. Could start recording as early as April.

Jan 17 show with Jar'd Loose from Chicago
Really cool 3 day weekend tour in March that we're still waiting to officially announce to the masses. I've been hoarding some awesome artwork and details for this, but can't really talk about it until everything is finalized.
Might be either hosting an early March show in Pittsburgh or playing somewhere in West Virginia with Backwoods Payback. Really excited for that.

Other than that, not much else planned. I guess a full length and a cool mini tour for a band that's only played 6 shows is pretty solid though. Once recording plans are solidified, I'd like to work on doing another weekend mini tour and hit up York, PA/Philly/NYC or something like that. We can't travel too far from home, but we really need to get some out of town shows going.

2013 should be a good year for me and the boys in Infinite Flux. Drummer is on vacation for the first couple of weeks of January, so the guitarist and I are going to record our separate parts on a few songs and drums will be last. Hoping to get at least 4 or 5 of our finished songs recorded and sounding as good as we can.

Drummer will be moving back to Indiana in June/July...so that sucks, but we're gonna roll with what we've got for as long as we can before he leaves.

Funny enough we might be practicing in a church with a stage, pa, recording booth and all kinds of goodies. Kelly's neighbor does a whole bunch of stuff for the church and he want's to help us out, he's learning how to record in school. We can't drink there though. I guess we'll just get ripped before we drive over there a mile away. haha

It's good news. Band is called Rhogog. That's why I said I can't imagine there being a bunch of bands with that name. Pretty sure the only Doom band called that, is from . They are some heavy death/doom type stuff.

Waiting on last band to confirm before we got ourselves an official second show.

Fingers crossed.

Sacramental wine? Or is it one of those pussy Presbyterian churches like I went to as a kid that only serves grape juice?

Not sure. hahahaha.
We'll see. Kelly has done some electrical over there before. He said he found a fully stocked bar... But we can't bring some beers? haha. But some sacramental wine would be nice.

I'd need to buy a van or something to haul it around but it would be worth it.

If it was in my house I think I'd probably starve to death from not being able to drag myself away from it. So much awesome.

Yeah dude, that thing seriously looks like hours of fun, the only thing its missing is a keyboard rack for a Moog Voyager, and huge tube stacks behind it.

Add those and a built-in fog machine and you'd be set.

this. The new one isn't too bad, but Big Black is just a timeless classic in my ears. It's by no way anything inovative but that whole album is one solid stoner recordfrom start to end.
