I think thats still being developed but it is funded. |

Only in the sense that it would be hard to make one version multiple people would want. Depending on what effects combos people like. OD/Dist and Fuzz are kind of a no-brainer, then I would say either delay or reverb and then either boost or compressor. If you could make a modular PCB based platform it might be slightly more practical in execution. Then you could have a base price for the board and a menu for the desired effects. Even then, not sure if it would be worth the trouble for a commercial venture...but it would definitely be cool and interesting. I love experimenting with effects order, blending and all that stuff, personally.
Reminds me of the 70s and 80s when the big touring guys would disguise their pedalboard inside some big custom metal enclosure, with label maker style labels like "FUZZ", "DELAY", "CHORUS", etc., usually vintage production pedals modded up to their favorite specs, with midi switching systems. I remember Andy Summers had one, I think David Gilmour had one too at some point.

Each customer would have to specify what they wanted. So it could be any combo of maybe 4. Like Wizard Fuzz, Deep Space, Volt Thrower, and Phantom Echoes (what i wanted to call my delay) |

TOUR VAN BASS RIG OF DOOOOOOOOM.

I was happy until I started a punk-ish band and it couldn't keep up. Then I got in a stoner/metal band and it really didn't work out.
It took me about 5 or 6 amps to find one that worked for me again.
If I had to do it all over again I would have gotten a Walkabout.
I guess what I'm saying is, is that a tube amp sounds awesome until you realize it won't work for your needs.
To be honest...I'm pretty sure I lost my point. | I completely get what you're saying. I kind of want a tube amp just to have a tube amp again. I always find tube amps to be underpowered for the situations when I use them (outside of recording, in which case they're pretty sweet). But if I were going to use a tube amp live, it would be a much lower volume project (which isn't in the works at all currently) or in conjuntion with my Sunn as a ghetto rigged bi-amp system with the Sunn/Berg's covering the lows and probably some highs, and the Tube amp and that Hiwatt 4x12 filling in the harmonics and midrange growl and general tube magic.
Thanks for the suggestions, others are always appreciated too. |

When I had it paired with 2 Peavey 2x15s, with FZ-2 boost on the Not so great OD channel on the amp... It crushed.

Reeves, Marshall, Hiwatt, Morgan, divided by 13etc. Maybe a old sound city???? One with passive tone controls. Simms watts, univox???? Can you tell I scoured for a 200w amp . The peavey is cool for the money.
