I lean more twards the stoner side, although my current band doesn't show it. I need to get the song I wrote on sound cloud. It changed my guitarist mind about fuzzed out bass in songs. He told me I made him like distorted/fuzzed bass for the first time. The blue beard cannot be denied!

New board.

Pitchblack > Demon King > MF-104M (Mission EP-1 controlling delay time)

Powered off a 1 spot, the board is a piece of metal from a disassembled ambulance. I have a small old briefcase that it fits perfectly in, although I hope to re-do the foam in my flightcase so that it'll fit in there with my bass.

Everything I need, nothing I don't. Still tons of sonic possibilities. Really happy with this setup.

You want them wired in parallel. So you can run the first to the jack, then another lead from the negative terminal of one speaker to the negative terminal of the other. Do the same on the positive side. Or you can run both negative terminals to the same side of the jack, and likewise with the positive sides. Either way make sure the speakers are in phase, easy to check with a battery check.

I'm definitely more on the stoner side. Doom bands like Cough bore me to tears. But at the same time, I'll watch an awesome doom band like beebassdude's band The Osedax any day of the week.

I'll play with anyone if I think it will help us gain more fans. We're basically doing a show with two hardcore bands in March, but we're friends with the bands and people there will likely dig us, plus it sets us apart. Pittsburgh has a **** load of bands to play with, so we have a wide selection from rock, stoner rock, punk, death, doom, etc.

+1. posi to posi, negative to negative, then to jack. now i'd have to research a little if you wanted a daisy chain output.. but I don't think it's too hard.

Well if you wanted it to be a parallel jack (as most cabs are) just wire the second jack the same way you did the first speaker, positive terminal to positive terminal. To run a jack in series is a bit of a trick. Easier to build a series cable IMHO.

The red eye cabs aren't anything to write home about. The heads from that time had some issues too.

In other news blood eagle is probably our doomiest song as of now. Need to record next practice.

Good to know. I was eyeing the 412. Can't find any 412s on carvin site. Wondering if it's really a 410. Sent an email. See if he'll sell just the 412. Offered $200.

They never made a 412 in the red line series that i remember. $200 is a decent deal for that 410 regardless. i think its 8 ohm so you can mix it with something I had both of those same cabs back in the day, they were loud with my 800rb bi-amped

Ha! Yeah I figured. Who wants a 410? Maybe I need to be looking for a small, discrete 215...
