I sure as hell don't use a tuning fork. Give me consistent digital tuners. |

We have two 15" monitors hooked up on either side of drummer, kinda angled. It's not mega loud, but you know we have lyrics to our songs. You just might not be able to make them out.
Less than 4 weeks til show and still no confirmation on what bands...

Um. They're metal. That's about it. I guess it don't make no difference to club owners but I was hoping for a stoner/doom centric show.
Is Asthma Castle too metal for Stoner/Doom? I know we don't fit all of the core tenants but have I been deluding myself this whole time? |

I may have to go this year its only a 90 minute drive.

FoF - Maybe playing with a straight up metal band will bring some potential fans that wouldn't otherwise know about your band. You never know...
I'm listening to Sonic Titan - Even Higher. Downloaded for free from Bandcamp. I wasn't expecting much, but holy balls it's pretty awesome. Retro/Psych done right (and they're not from Scandinavia). Great songwriting, production and musicianship. Highly recommended. http://sonictitan.bandcamp.com/album/even-higher
EDIT: Sounds like the drums are programmed, sneaky bastards. I still really like it.

I don't mind Phish, they're just not exactly my cup o tea, I'm more of a classic Grateful Dead kinda guy. But he's promised to take me to a show to help me see what Phish is truly about, he said if you listen to their studio album's you'll probably end up hating them, it's all about the live shows and bootleg albums.
