Any of you guys have an SVT-VR? How much did you pay for it? Doing some price checking.

IDK if this thread follows some specific order, but I kinda wanna discuss the EHX Superego and such related pedals. I just swooped one up yesterday, threw a chorus and bassballs in the loop, and shat my mind. anyone else have one?

I want to grab a superego one of these days. I just haven't gotten around to getting one yet.

Not really interested in it for Bongripper or anything, but it seems like a fun pedal to make ambient drones with.

I got the EHX Freeze a couple of months ago. I love using it for drones and ambient jams. I've mostly tried it with my EHX Ravish Sitar and delay, blows my mind every time. oh, and a wah. Now, if I could only get my hands on an expression pedal for the Ravish..

Edit: I haven't read up on the Superego, but I have the impression that it does more or less the same as the Freeze.. am I right?

For the longest time I thought this was the live/demo collection that I already had which I can't remember the name of. I was pretty happy to find it at the used cd/video game place.

I don't like the "lead" tone yet, it takes a lot of time and tweaking to make it sound decent. I haven't found any use for it yet, but maybe in time. what I absolutely LOVE about it is the sound of the "sympathetic strings". you can program your own custom scales (or just go with one of the presets), adjust the decay and modulation to your liking, and suddenly you've got this endlessly modulating synth-like sound swelling in the background. think the last five minutes of Electric Wizard's Weird Tales. with an expression pedal you can control the level of that sound. just the thought of it tickles me in all the right places.

that said, I haven't explored it fully yet. I think there are many more interesting sounds to get out of it.

Order? What order?

Any soundclips of the Superego and chorus? I'd be real interested in that combination...

Weed is an add on to help get me to that cosmic nod.
In Colorado, we wake up stoned. So, it's more strange to practice sober...
