Not really interested in it for Bongripper or anything, but it seems like a fun pedal to make ambient drones with. |

I love using it for drones and ambient jams. I've mostly tried it with my EHX Ravish Sitar and delay, blows my mind every time. oh, and a wah. Now, if I could only get my hands on an expression pedal for the Ravish..
Edit: I haven't read up on the Superego, but I have the impression that it does more or less the same as the Freeze.. am I right? |

I haven't found any use for it yet, but maybe in time. what I absolutely LOVE about it is the sound of the "sympathetic strings". you can program your own custom scales (or just go with one of the presets), adjust the decay and modulation to your liking, and suddenly you've got this endlessly modulating synth-like sound swelling in the background. think the last five minutes of Electric Wizard's Weird Tales. with an expression pedal you can control the level of that sound. just the thought of it tickles me in all the right places.
that said, I haven't explored it fully yet. I think there are many more interesting sounds to get out of it.

Any soundclips of the Superego and chorus? I'd be real interested in that combination... |

Weed is an add on to help get me to that cosmic nod. | In Colorado, we wake up stoned. So, it's more strange to practice sober...
