Hey guys, New to the forum here. New to the bass all together haha. Anyways, a quick question you guys can hopefully help me out with:

Has Steve Bailey and Les Claypool ever played together??
And If they have, does anybody have a recording(s) of it???
Thanks guys, hope to learn a lot here.

No they haven't. At least not that's been recorded and available for purchase or download.

I've never heard of them doing anything together before and thus I'm 99.9% sure they haven't.

I remember seeing them together, along with Vic Wooten, on an advert for ADA preamps in BP years back. Don't think they've ever recorded together though.

I dunno about that. It usually takes a pretty good combination of bassists to make the dual or triple bass thing work. And we're not just talking chops either. I didn't think the Manring/Carbonne/Di Piazza thing was that great because the tunes simply didn't blow me away. Steve Bailey is definitely capable (Bass Extremes, anyone?) but I'm not sure about Les.
