a ric headstock isn't a ric headstock without the cool tuner style. let me know if you find any good replacements - i am keen. my tuners even rattle slightly when i hit the low C, which makes me think that they aren't optimal.

Gotta drill a couple holes, trim a few things, stop at the hardware store to pick up some screws, figure out a bottom plate and shes ready to go. I think it'll turn out really cool.

Will also have a new pedalboard by the end of the night.
Did you build the sides? I was looking for some prefab slats (i think is the technical term) that were 90 degrees with enough space to nail down some 1/2 thick pieces of wood.

L---------

Like that ^
The L is what I need the --- is the 1/2 thick board.

My tuner options are limited since I need black ones. Was thinking of trying out the Hipshots. Gotta make sure they'll fit first.

mmmmm shotguns, oh the childish excuses to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, elevate your mood and get some mouth to mouth time with random girls.
Haha, I'm not a fairy, I'm a broad, dude. Some ladies do love me already. I would be LEGEND if I dug, um fish tacos. I, however, do not.

Just a ponder - shotgunning, does it even work? I was always so clouded by the time those shenanigans happened I never could tell.

Off to the Carvin site to check out this green p bass body.

Yes, it works.

They only have made one size, you can get hipshot's or new ric tuners from POTR if they have black.

Oh cool, I had no idea we had a girl posting here. I was under the assumption everyone here was a dude. I think you may be the only one! Luckily this thread is nothing like the real internet, so a bunch of dudes aren't going to start hitting on you now.

Oh cool, thanks. Why did you think replacing your tuners didn't make a big difference? Where you experiencing issues before hand and they weren't really resolved, or you did it for the hell of it and didn't really notice a difference? I do remember you replacing them.

I really like the band, but only dug like half the tracks from their other full length. Some of the songs were just too weak and boring. This whole album feels dirty, gritty and heavy. And most importantly, groovy as ****.

Triple post!

Well damn, I feel like a dumbass..... I should really look at new peoples profiles before assuming things. I apologize m'lady.

Yeah it does work, its not as effective but your lungs only remove about 25% of the THC if you breath quickly, so when you pass it on there is still potency just at a reduced rate. That's why your supposed to try and hold it in as long as you can to force your lungs to use more of it.

We really need to have a stoner/doom thread GTG. In Colorado of course.

I have a question that someone here might be able to answer. Why the hell do some American bands only distribute vinyls through a single European distributor? I want to buy Black Cowgirls record. They live like 4 hours from me. But I have to order it from Germany, pay 19% tax, take a hit on EUR to USD conversion, and pay like $15 shipping. This makes no sense to me.

If Carvin would give up the ghost and finally offer a Precision pickup option...I would sell all my basses and guitars short of my Drake Custom and go all Carvin.

DeadByDawn, does your band have a Bandcamp or Soundcloud page or something?

Well they're just a distributor, not a record label. But I think they do the vinyl pressings, so I guess maybe the bands agree to an exclusive distribution agreement in exchange for cheap cost. Either way, it drives me nuts.

I know someone on another forum who went through this process and almost got hosed, alot of the european vinyl distributors force you to sign an exclusivity agreement. They want to make sure if someone in europe wants your music they can only get it through them, but they also screw over the bands with fees and charges so that they barely make 1 to 2% profit on each sale while they make in the 48-50% range.
