Pretty cool, usually a decent turnout, everyone is pretty cool even though sometimes it feels like a high school party because of the young kids. Hope you don't mind playing after the bars close though. They usually run on a different time schedule. You can easily do a double booked night (play a legit place then scoot over there and play the after parties)

Got to love PVD time. "Show starts at 8 PM. For real this time!" Get there at 11 PM, no one has played. I know of Lolita Black. I Saw them at the PT-109 space before it got shut down. Isn't Bob from Dropdead on guitar? I know Tinsel Teeth has female vox. Liz in Rozamov and Larissa in Heserki (black metal). We've never played Providence, but would really like to. I heard Dusk is pretty cool. Maybe there was a sticker of ours floating around somewhere?

Is it horrible? YES! Do I ever want this to happen? NO, certainly not, but am I surprised? Most definitely NOT. There are way to may people out there, statsistically speaking for there not to be some crazies that try to mass shoot, blow up a build, etc.

I bet somehow someone will blame Obama or bring in religion or something into this...Why cant people just kill for killings sake, you dont need a reason in GTA.

Unfortunately I believe we live in a society that glorifies this type of behavior and self-perpetuates more tragedy. The national media transforms a local tragedy into a nationwide event. It becomes relevant to people whom it would ordinarily be unknown and irrelevant.

Then narcissist/sociopath types who strive to obtain relevance by any means necessary see it as an easy way to achieve the attention they crave. Worse, they look at the last tragedy as a challenge that they have to "1 up." Not a good trend in our increasingly helpless and entitled society.

I can understand your opinion on the whole thing. You're young and don't have kids. As the parent of a toddler who is only a few years away from entering the education system, this is absolutely horrifying.
