This music sharing sounds awesome, and i agree with Adam, I love buying music and merch from bands at shows, but when it comes to randomly checking something out i love the download... and It I like it I end up supporting said band usually re-buying said album on vinyl if it's available. Online music has made so much obscure stuff readily available... I remember working in a used CD store being blown away by stuff that would come in because I had been looking for it for years... the first candiria record comes to mind specifically.

Anyway: Best CL Post I've seen in a long time: Almost as rad as this whole music sharing thing!

speaking of music stores, I was just over at the local guitar shop. its a Fender, Gibson, Ibanez kinda place. they had this fender rumble stack that was like a 1x12 and 2x8 stack that was the cutest little mini rig of doom ever.. I hugged it and told it that one day it would grow up and make a doomer proud!

A bit bummed that I missed High on Fire, Goatwhore, and Lo-Pan last night. My bandmates went, though and picked me up some swag. Including a hilarious High on Pryor sticker.

Smoking a cigarette, tolerating small humans, listening to bongripper on bandcamp and trying to get the strength to clean this house for the christmas party tonight. Going to set the pa up for some karaoke and stuff. Thank god my friends are mostly into rock/metal so I won't have to hear LMFAO all night. So much stuff coming in the mail this week... pedals, accessories, gear... so stoked.

Oh and if Laz is out there, bringing my wife and some friends to the moose show. It's gonna be killer.

Had to take a break from cleaning and whipped out the bass to play some heavy sludge... I really should record some of this. Not something my guitarist would be into but it might shat a few pants. Hope everyone else has a pants shatting saturday.

Awesome! Should be a good show. Fist Fight in the Parking Lot is fronted by Abby of 105.9 The X. She's also my guitarist's fiance. They kick ass.

I went and listened to some of their stuff online, killer. I've seen Skell and After the Fall and with you guys that place might not withstand the amount of ear damaging madness that will be coursing through those walls. It'll be a good time

Had a another great practice last night. My modded/rehoused ODB-3 was a hit. I still have to play with it more but it really doesnt drastically change the pedal, I just makes it better in every way and it abso-fvckin-lutlely crushes with the low end, bottom as wide as the wall of china is long. I'll have recordings of it later this week.

Another thing, I'm starting to realize my old Acoustic power amp isnt gonna cut it anymore, I'm going to need something a bit more powerful power amp. But I dont need thousands of watts, because the 200 watts I have now is almost enough. What are some power amps that have like 400-600 watts at 2 ohms? Preferably a single channel.

Been thinking about it though... $150 for a 2x15 practice amp is pretty cool. I can't spend a dime on any gear or face serious wrath or I'd probably do it lol. Love the name too, SUPER THOR. Doom micro rig... bigger than most people's main rig.

My wife just had to pick up my guitarist. He ended up getting smashed into in a parking lot on his way to subway and they shattered his window and stuff. He said the sandwich was worth it. I don't want to clean for this party

So i picked up the Mesa 412. played it briefly with my Walkabout and it sounds pretty huge but not boomy. a little lighter in the low mids than my ampeg 810 but more detail in the highs. cant wait to really push it. i cant see it replacing the 810 but a cool alternative.
