Yeah I know just some software generated bass doesn't do it justice. I'll definitely be putting delay or tremolo in some spots maybe some rotovibe or some overdrive in others.

haha yeah it's a guitar pro 6 render. I always write out my tunes in guitar pro. Helps with sharing it with other musicians so they can learn my tunes easily.

I just exported a WAV file and converted it to mp3. It would be alot more fluid sounding if i had actually played it I just don't have a decent recording set up right now. Just wanted some feedback on the tune.

haha yeah I know blasphemy in the stoner thread . Thanks though.

I've been talking with the drummer for my old band and we might get a two piece going. He's in another band right now but he says he has time to do another project. We've always got along and played of each other nicely so hopefully this pans out.

I was looking for drummers by posting ads online and every single one of them flaked out before I could even try them out. They said they were down to jam and what days they could yadda yadda and when I tried to set something concrete up *poof* they disappeared. It's been a frustrating past couple of months dealing with that constantly.

But yeah if I get something going I'll put up actual demos.

Could anyone here recommend a muff by chance? Something close to the Rat Turbo but more muffed bass response if that makes sense? I love my fuzzes, but I think I need a little something extra to layer in there with my VT. Any suggestions?

yeah i saw a vintage ripper on guitar center but i didnt know how it compared with the vintage grabber. i figured id prolly pick up the thunderbird because i wouldnt have to hunt it down and dont feel like investing money in my j-bass, to hold me over till then, its in rough condition, needs a new bridge and of course i cant find anything good local.

I prefer grabbers to rippers the neck is more comfortable. Still want a g3. Grabbers are pretty common used usually in the $600 range. They play and sit better then a newer t-bird IMO.

Round 2 what ya think? $75/$100?? It's make a offer. Pass?
Less than 125 he might get pissy. Especially if the hardware is in decent shape. His lowest price might be 150…

Nah, I knew he was referring to Mike, since a lot of Yob's material comes from before Aaron was in the band. Definitely one of my favorite guitar tones.

I would like to know how Aaron gets the tone he has on this, though. It's so gloriously nasty.

I've always saw it, but was too lazy to ask.

Was ugly xmas sweater shopping earlier today at Goodwill, none to be had, and I'm sure thats because hipster thrift stores buy them out and sell them for quadruple, but I picked up this, seemed legit for 99 cents.

Deep Purple + an orchestra, I'm in.
