Not some bum on Craigslist or some dude that fixed a couple pickups on talkbass. And do some research on the reverse polarity. It will resemble a jazz bass in its quieter when both pickups are running. It's just an Idea but does not need to be done. |

Who should I contact about sending the pickup to? I'm still holding out hope for having someone local do it. There are a couple of good shops in the area that I'm going to talk to. |

but how do i check the pickup? where would i connect to? | Basically you just want to use the meter to check the resistance of the pickup. So you can open up the bass and connect the multimeter clips to each lead of the pickup and set the ohmeter to something like 20k. |
