I've got Elder blasting on the stereo, a pizza ready to go in the oven, a new Genz Benz amp in the basement and yet another edition of Stoner/Doom.

Life can be real good...

Exhibit A

Yes, there is a bass in these recordings...but it's their old bassist playing, we dont have any recordings with me yet, but give a little taste of what we throw down.

For the record, we sound way better with me...

Here's a demo of a simple Unsane inspired song I wrote for a band I used to be in. Never got used, so I never fleshed it out, just a quick 30 minutes of writing and recording what I had for the idea. The band I was in at the time I was pushing really hard for that Unsane approach to heavy, medium OD on guitar and heavy bass tone, with a lot of guitar droning while the bass carried the melody. So I had meant to go back and eventually arrange it differently to that end, maybe I still will sometime.

Just got back from a bourbon infused Friday night jam session. Rocked the 75 Pbass into the Magma and holy ****! I was cutting through the mix like a 7 foot claymore. I am so in love with this Pbass. Band is also forming some really solid tunes that I think you guys will really dig.

Also been catching up on some stuff that's been sitting on my hard drive. Spirit Caravan rocks!

I couldn't remember if anyone was using 18"s in their rigs, but I was considering adding a 2x18cab to my 4x12. If so, would it be recommended that I keep it a clean signal(no distortion/gain/ or overdrive) to keep low end, or do they seem to handle it pretty well, but maybe in a bi-amp situation?

I've had SNOT playing in my car for 2 days. Best Rap/Rock ever.

Everyone from frat boys to metal heads can get down to this band.

Don't judge me.
