Pretty sure my dad made me mow the lawn when I was like 8. Then again, he also had me using a plasma torch when I was like 12...

Hey Laz, didn't you have a peavey ipr? I've been looking at them for running with the meatsmoke pre. Do they have a mono / bridged switch somewhere? I didn't see it anywhere..

Also, whats the consensus on Carvin power amps... I may be able to snag a slightly older slightly cheaper one...

Well, there it is. There definitely is a learning curve to cutting a pick guard. Made one for my sg bass too but didnt like the way it looked. I think the bird's looking a bit more thundery.
Nice dude!!!! Looks great! I recently made a pickguard for a gibson marauder guitar for a friend/customer. It's a lot of work making a custom pickguard.

Yeah, had an IPR3000. I think it is POSSIBLE to bridge them, but they aren't rated for bridge mode. 1000w to each of my 2x12s was good enough for me lol.

Good power amp though. The Magma leaked DC voltage into the input and fried it. Peavey repaired it under warranty no questions asked.

I was a weird kid... I think somewhere between 8-12 I learned how to hack and pirate commodore 64 software, operate my grandmas vcr to auto record programs back when few people had one, and played a hacked atari 2600 with my brother that had like 40 games on these chips you'd load onto a blank cartridge. Was bullied pretty bad growing up. How I didn't end up a supervillan, I don't know.

Now I'm old and play bass and work my government contractor job. Funny how things work out.

Edit: Grats bender, now name him Lemmy. Any other name is unsuitable.

So I did some more ****ing around with the Ibby 5'er last night and got it set up pretty awesomely, low action, no buzzing, perfect intonation. So I think I'll postpone the new bass purchase. We can use some of that cash for a nice trip or something. Haven't gotten to travel much in the last 2 years so that will be nice.

FAC OFF. I will release that fuzz 2 in the spring. and it would be the cthulu fuzz with all the controls available such as FAC, Fuzz, Bias, and Volume

Thanks, I remember you saying the magma killed it. The 1600's go for $200 on gc used... So I'll see whats up with this carvin, if it's even close I'll just wait and get an IPR.

Congrats Blender

The Cthulu looks awesome..

Hah. You've built so many prototypes I forget which one it was that I really wanted. I think it was the wizard fuzz cause I remember the staff orb LED.

I dig the cthulu fuzz, more original. My favorite fuzz design is the Masf Starry Wisdom. That thing just looks badass and I might end up with one sometime just because it would look awesome at my feet.

Personally, I'm waiting for a Flying Spaghetti Monster Fuzz. I want to touch others with his noodly appendage.

Make that Cthulu look more evil. I mean, he's the ultimate evil, right?
