haha. IME, they don't like being reminded that the "god" does not give them everything as their book proclaims. Also, I'm pretty sure if there was an entity such as Lucifer, he would play bass.

Atleast, I like to think so.

If I weren't so opposed to randomly offending people, that would so be my signature.

In fact, that would be a good theme for lyrics, maye a whole concept album about the lack of intelligence in our design.

Volt thrower clip sounds rad. Did we figure out a power supply or do you really need 4-9v batteries?

I can't imagine the stereotypes we get. We are all fat ass, egomaniacal, narcissist rednecks, whose sole purpose is to find foods to deep fry and put wheels on chairs so we can get from point A to point B, because we are so lazy, we don't want to walk anymore.

Or, we are all John Wayne...

i imagine canadian christians might actually be nice to their neighbours and whatnot

we have them here in new zealand but it's usually either culture related (polynesians etc) or just small town based baptist churches.

we have a huge Exclusive Brethren population. google that ****, it's insane, and lives up to the craziness of the name.

I ate a burger and milkshake for lunch. Unfortunately nothing was deep fried, but at least it made me feel pretty American. USA USA USA!

man, i was just helping a guy out with bass ergonomics on a forum.

he was playing a right handed 34.5" scale bass (ibanez lawsuit P), sitting down, with the body resting on his left leg, and wondering why his arm and and shoulder were getting tired when using frets 1-5 on any string.

i like being able to pass down knowledge like that, no matter how basic - reminds me of how far i've come. kind of like looking through my old talkbass posts trying to find information on Justin Chancellor's pedalboard, and asking Sonny what a Bluebeard sounded like in 2006.

West Michigan is a special kind of place. Most of the people who settled there in the last century were Dutch pilgrims with weirdo religious views. Calvinists aplenty over there. Grand Rapids is a cool city (cooler than Lansing anyway), but once you get outside the city it gets weird fast.

I'm from a mostly Polish catholic factory town (Bay City), which has a lot more in common with Pennsylvania and Ohio than it does with west Michigan.

Huh. I've always played with the body on my left leg when I play sitting down, classical guitar style. I've got pretty long arms, but I think my teacher played that way too, and he was a much smaller dude.

My drummer is looking to get a new kit with his tax return. He's looking at crush drums. They're pretty darn nice.
