Those Crush acrylic drums are pretty sweet. $999 for a new acrylic 5 piece is a damn good deal.

Yep, I'm just a physics degree having Pole, trying to be reasonable in w. Michigan.

Right on. I have not heard of Crush Drums before. If I had to buy another kit today, I would probably go with either a Classic Ludwig kit or a DW kit. Besides sounding good, both sport lugs that have not changed in years. Seems like a small thing, but when things break years later, and no one makes your hardware anymore, it is lame. I have a beautiful old Tama Grandstar. I know if things go down I will have to get creative or look for other old Tama kits to cannibalize to keep the old kit up and running. Because DW and Ludwig offer kits with the same lug design as they had over ten years ago, they are never very hard to find when needed.

You could always opt for a smaller bass drum if you want to retain more punch than boom. Great... Now I want a Bonham set.

After 3 days of not stopping,I'm dead on my feet, and now I have to move out tomorrow.Had my first day of uni today. When we all had our lunch break, one guy was sitting in the corner on his own,all shy and what not,so I went up and spoke.when I mentioned that I play stoner/doom metal,he all of a sudden lit up and told me all about his stoner doom metal band.Top day.Shame it was a 15 hour day

Congrats, Blender! And, my sympathy to Mrs. Blender for the Herculean struggle.

And my vote is for Cthulhu Hatfield.

Man, I would LOVE to go to that show. Sadly, I am gonna be out of condition for the drive.

Gotta get braces on my teeth tomorrow. Not pleased.
