My skinny butt can finally get into a medium so now comes the process of throwing out all my old clothes and buying new ones... what happened to jeans? They are either mega loose or nut huggers. Last time I saw pants this tight, was when the FFA had a club meeting back in highschool (those future farmers sure do love wranglers).

I have heard people say that country music is white man blues (i personally can't stand country music). And if stoner rock is heavily blues influenced, when are we going to see a country stoner band (besides Willie Nelson)? Thoughts?

Getting sweaty palms on this two joyo pedals for under $50 thing. Ron, you said you ordered from wtfaccessories before. How fast is their shipping, if you remember? (of course they aren't shipping anything until 02/20 because of a spring festival thing).

I would like to direct you to Dukeorock just a post above yours. He kind of fits in that stoner/rockabilly genre with one of his bands.

The Dually is seriously great. greenboy's other cabs are in some people's humble opinions even better.

Hank III?

Lucero is good too, though not explicitly stoner-ish.

Joe, honestly I don't recall how quick it shipped. I know I got a Mooer pedal from them, but I don't recall which one. I think it was a couple weeks, but nothing too crazy.

I'm from a mostly Polish catholic factory town (Bay City), which has a lot more in common with Pennsylvania and Ohio than it does with west Michigan.[/quote]

Sounds like where I grew up in Northeast PA. Mining died out then factories took over. Sure miss the food though!!!

I've got GAs that never will be quenched. Sad part is I've got the dough, but don't have any use for amps, effects, or basses since I'm not gigging, and will probably never gig again.

Glad to see I've managed to slowly convert people to Duallys in here :P

Some fun stuff I've been following on facebook lately... some guys I know started trolling the crap out of this Columbus venue online (Alrosa, where Dime was murdered) because of these pay to play battle of the bands scams they've been running. Alrosa made a post about it on their FB page, saying they were contacting various police departments to help arrest the individuals responsible (hah, hello first amendment). Well now they completely pulled their FB site which is pretty funny. Watching it unfold has been entertaining to say the least.

It's cool CL400Peavey, everything in time. That is to say, my plan is to eventually own all of the gear.
