For a while I thought I should of got the faital pro since its naturally brighter, but since I found my pedal board was to blame I've been great. Mark what are your thoughts on combo jacks 1/4-speakon? I really want/need a 1/4 on my bassic. I don't know if I can squeeze a 1/4 jack between the current two inputs. Also could I have all three if I can get it to fit. I just don't want a special cable and my adaptor stick out too far. |

Country, hip hop and rock used to be Hank Williams, Run DMC and Led Zeppelin. Now it's Tim McGraw, Chris Brown and Nickleback -_- |

That is what I use with my tube amp, never had a problem.

I just built a pair of cabs and put 2 speakons and 2 1/4"s in each, all in parallel, to account for any amp/cab situation. Just wire all the +'s together and all the -'s together (and ignore the +2 and -2 on the speakons, just use +1 and -1.)
I need to get some speakon cables now, as my rig was shaking the 1/4" cable out of the jack of one of my cabs mid-playing. That can't be good....

That can't be good.... | Speakons are nice, and you can make or get 1/4" to speakon for cheap if you look around enough. I was grumbling about having to get them, but once you have them they're nice.
AmpegFuzz, PM me and I can probably send you one, I've got a few more than I need. I'll dig through my cable box tonight and see what I've got. At the very least I could send you a few speakon connectors.

I have the Yamaha clone of that cab and had 3015s in there for a bit. In the end, the drivers served me better as fund raisers, than as speakers I "needed".
I was never concerned about a cab imploding, until I tried this combo. It is something to do with folded horns and 3015s that just opens things up.
Alright, probably won't be on til tomorrow. Peace out!

I made a couple cables incase someone wants to demo a cab. Just buy one Speakon cable, cut it in half, and put 1/4" plugs on the other end...then you just made your cable and your backup |

I have a local residency gig with a trio that isn't very loud, but when I first built my F215 I couldn't resist bring it to gigs, even the small ones...I'm pretty good at adjusting my volume to the rest of the band, but that cab made a few folks nervous
Nowadays for that gig, I just take an F115 or an F112 which seems to cause less panic |

Time to speaker shop. Was going to go with Eminence Delta 10B's, but now the sky's the limit. Any suggestion on how to go about determining what speakers would work best for my box? I know I'll need to get dimensions of the box and what not, but am not completely sure how to match those specs with drivers... |

Work is busy but I can't focus, just want to play tonight's show. ...and we're playing last...and I'm getting to the venue early so I'll be sitting around for a good 4-5 hours before we play and trying not to drink too much.
The wait is killing me. |
