Can't wait till my Waterstone Fackenbacker gets here next week. I went a little crazy this income tax time and decided to swap bass gear around.

Now if only icon snag a echoplex |

I've been pretty uninterested in digital delays for awhile (5 years or so). Even took me awhile and some convincing before the timeline seemed so appealing.
But I've got high hopes, and these strymon's don't seem to disappoint. |

Nick - I removed the rubber feet (and replaced the screws obviously) then put Velcro anywhere there isn't a label or sticker on the bottom. |

Even with the clips, I'm more interested in what you thought. Living in Boise we rarely get much vintage gear that any decent big city gets.

Really hot pickups, very deep tone, I thought the bridge pickup sounded best. Which is unusual, as I typically prefer the neck pickup on dual PU basses. The bridge position was a little clearer, the neck PU was a bit too farty for my taste, but it may have just been the amp I was using.

The phase switch, to me with both pickups sounds ...not very good...if you solo a pickup, it gets a bit moe interesting...the tweakiest tone controls on a passive bass that I've ever seen...Thinking of having a local luthier make some lightweight replacement bodies...but may also just hollow mine out a bit in key places |

Definitely one of the most tweakable passive basses I've played.
