Go to nearest bar and stay warm.

Had an awesome first show last night. Great show, great bands great crowd. I wish I couldve seen more of Mercian, but some guy cracked his head open, but from what I saw you guys killed it. Your rig sounded really good, those behringer cabs sounded great! And I love your guitar players singing voice.

The stage had some pro sound dampening that made the onstage sound really weird, I thought I sounded like shvt but I guess it sounded fine out in the crowd. My guitar player got on top of his amp at one point. Both of my beers got knocked over. The load in and outs sucked...I should sell everything, get a combo and play Coldplay covers, NOT!!!

Cant wait for next week friday!

Going to another show tonight, got to get our faces out there.

Best of luck getting to Boston. It's a complete **** show here. Public transportation is closed until Monday - at the earliest. The city is at a complete stop. It's crazy. At least the driving ban was lifted a few hours ago.

It was easily the most ridiculous two years of my life... even at 27-29. Sorry man. You will feel better though once its done.

$200-300....

Have you actually seen one at this price? I've looked on and off for years and have never seen one lower than $400. Everything on ebay, CL, TB, what not have it for $450 at the cheapest.

pickups question - if i put three Artec Sidewinder pickups (30k ohm each) in a short scale EB-0, 2cm apart in some kind of freakish 70s over the top experiment, will any of these things happen:

a. I overload any amp/pedal I plug into
b. the magnets pull on the strings so hard it's unplayable
c. the universe implodes?

d. The middle pickup won't be that much different sounding and will still cost as much as the first two.

Still I'm a firm believer in Goldilocks solutions, you may like one in the middle enough to justify the cost.

sidewinders are $17 each so i figured i may as well - perhaps i'll change out the magnets in it or otherwise modify it if it doesn't make a huge diff.

i'll probably go for a three position with neck, bridge, all. the tone and volume can be masters.

it's going to be a monster. a really, really body heavy monster.

if you couldn't tell this was inspired by sonny's monster p-bass with the T40 'toaster' in the neck and the two p pickups

it's roundabout what the original mudbuckers were, except done by a random manufacturer in hong kong, and you can barely hear a difference on a blind test between the 60s gibson and the cheapo

should be interesting to have.. three of them.. heh heh.
