that popped up (and no im not buying it lol) but i wanted to know a little more about slave heads (especially tube ones). this has the partridge transformers and the KT88s, but no preamp section. What would that mean tonally vs the regular ORMAT 200 with the same power section? need some more education for my amp stupid ass lol. | Indentured Servant model.
Plug into the VR's Power Amp In

I want to try some other distortion pedals with my clean-blend mixer setup but I don't want to rearrange the board to put my one stereo-out pedal first. | Not sure if you mean a blending pedal, or something else, but I picked up an Xotic X-Blender a few weeks ago. It is a very straight forward pedal. It has an "in and out", as well as a "send and receive" path. So I go bass> tuner> blender > M-80 DI > amp for clean, and for effects loop I go VT > RB > BB > The Elements > B3K > back to blender.
I was on the fence about how much I liked it when I got it, but it is a force multiple for sure. Some effects can take in a new personality with blending, and others I like to run solo, like the BB. I ordered an OSD from Ryan, so when that comes something will be voted off the island.

Thank-y. I gotta tell you, I dig the Rusty Box a lot. It has more gain on tap than the Darkglass. I just received it last night. It is a nice and grindy drive. I get a similar tone when I combine the B3K and the VT. I will have to play with them a little bit more, but I may ditch the B3K if it becomes too redundant. The Elements is probably on the way out as well.. I would like to draw down my pedals, at least the ones that sound similar.
On another note; I have an interface to play into my computer now. What do you all use to record your effects and whatnot onto soundcloud? I am a total noob when it comes to computer recording. Do you use rockband, or some other pro toolsy thing?

Did you guys do your favorite releases of 2012 already? (including stuff you didn't know existed before 2012, like maybe some stuff that came out three years ago but you missed it?)
