Also not sure how long the delay pedal will last. the guitar parts use a lot of delay and i am not finding any sonic space for it. i'll give it a few more practices. i used a BAT Revelation Superbass too. pretty cool pedal but i don't think i need it. it gives a nice clean bass boost and/or add some drive. if anyone is interested let me know.

I was on the fence about how much I liked it when I got it, but it is a force multiple for sure. Some effects can take in a new personality with blending, and others I like to run solo, like the BB. I ordered an OSD from Ryan, so when that comes something will be voted off the island. Attachment 317304 | Well, what I'm doing now is using a small 5-channel mixer (really small) on the pedal board. I run the dry out of the BBM to one one channel and the effect out to another, EQ and mix to taste, then mono main out of the mixer to the rest of my pedals.
Other distortion pedals don't have the dry out, so I'm going to try a simple Y splitter before the dirt, one leg goes into dirt, the other bypasses it to the mixer.
It's somewhat janky, but I wanted to experiment with clean blending other pedals before I drop the money on an LS2 or X-blender type pedal. |

It's gotten good results with the BBM, it's finally somewhat useable. It's nice having the 2-band EQ on the fuzz channel. |

These Gibsons are getting out of hand too. Everything I think is cool, is way to expensive.
I'm looking for a short scale now...

I remember you had that Guild B301 I think for sale, are they a heavy or light bass? Never saw one in person.

The neck dive was pretty annoying, and tonally it was similar to the Ric with me preferring the Ric, so I sold it. Awesome bass though. Real great player. |

In other news... MXR's new Bass Chorus is giving me a chub. Flanger function, crossover so you get a clean signal under 100 Hz. Sounds very....useful.

I'm going to bring down the Ibby 6 string and see how that works out. Never tried that thing with pedals yet.

Surprisingly I don't think there are that many EGC owners on TB. I think I've seen maybe one or two. OldCrow should have his very soon, I should have mine next month. |

Is it weird, that I like really bright signals, being run into dark sounding pedals and amps. Seems redundant, but it works well for me. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
