Even with thicker strings the tension was always floppy. I put it back into standard tuning before I sold it and it was rock solid. I couldn't hack the weight at all though, at that time. My shoulder and back were wrecked when I had it. It probably wouldn't be an issue for me now, but I don't regret selling it.

Is it weird, that I like really bright signals, being run into dark sounding pedals and amps. Seems redundant, but it works well for me. | those beans are just way too expensive. ive played one, didnt think it was anything special. you pay 50% of the price because its a travis bean. didnt feel any different to me than a good set up kramer. |

And yeah, I played one of the Beans before and didn't really click with it. They're mainly that expensive because of the rarity and historical value. Pretty innovative design though. |

I love my Way Huge Pork Loin and Swollen Pickle, so swaying toward a Aqua Puss. The Puss seems to be liked a little bit more than Carbon Copies in the comparisons videos and reviews. I am actually considering sending off my plastic little Danelectro Fab Echo of to JHS pedals to get the speed knob mod. That 15 dollar pedal gives the sweetest sounding reverb I can't get over everytime I play it. I don't think I am ready for tap tempo and have no need for runaway oscillation.

Originally Posted by beebassdude remember how much you paid and when? i dont usually see them for under 1k. | Almost half that. It was listed for sale for a long time and the seller just kept dropping the price. I threw out a lowball offer, he said no way, I told him I understood and good luck with the sale. Then the next day he made me a counter offer that was pretty good and I took it. It wasn't all original though, it had EMG pickups in place of the originals and one wonky tuner. I fixed it up a bit and replaced the tuner when I put it up for sale. I did make a bit of profit selling it, but not a lot, I wanted to pass on the good deal.
When I was looking for one and researching the price though, I noticed that a lot of listings are high...but they never sell. There was one 650B on ebay that had been listed at $1400 about 5 or 6 times and never sold. An all original one in good shape would certainly be worth more than what I paid for the one I had though, to be fair.

Until this one Ewige Blumenkraft and Los Sounds De Krauts were my favorites. They just seem restricted when they put out 40 minute albums. |

Hearing it live, though...HOLY ****. Absolutely how heavy music should sound. Seriously, every time I've heard the Sword live I think they are the greatest thing in metal...Just not a fan of their sound on albums.

Colour Haze - She Said great instrumentation. Vocals were a bit shakey.
