I had one for a few weeks and could never truly jive with it. The "more heavy" switch is cool, but you have to spend alot of time tweaking all the rest of the knobs to get it sounding right when its off, and then when you turn it on it can sound completely different (it got "heavier" sounding, but also disappeared in the mix to me). It definitely sounds wicked, just didn't work for me, I went back to a Verellen Big Spider and haven't looked back.

I've had 3 big spiders now because I'd get one then it didn't mesh with my rig, so I'd sell it, upgrade my rig and try again, then sell it. But with the rig I have now it sounds perfect, and when i need to cut through I just click on the tone bypass switch.

Beer is in order.
On the other hand I might buy a $10 chinese overdrive pedal I saw at Pawn America the other day. Clean blend set up is making me crazy for ****** dirt pedals. |

Played it a few times, loosks toi me like it's in really good shape. I considered it briefly. BUT, for the scracth that a vintage Gibson would run you, why not have some TB luthier just build you one to your specs?

Also got a cheap DS-1 to mod, and bought a Minitaur (which is gonna ship tomorrow if I didn't get lazzed).
Piece by piece my one man Al Cisneros tribute band is coming together. Now, which drum machine sounds Hakius the most?

memorise it because the knobs seem to willy nilly change their settings, haha. |

Waterstone MB neck through, 33.5 inch scale, super super lightweight, sort of a Fackenbacker I guess. Love the tone of the neck single coil soloed. Super fast neck.
