Also trying to track down that Catalinbread delay pedal people have recommended. Stupid GAS.
In other non-doom news, Steven Wilson's solo stuff kind of suddenly clicked for me and I can't stop listening to it.

I just checked their used. There seems to be two atm. One in Florida and one in Minnesota. Don't be afraid to talk em down a good bit, and have them include shipping or something. Worst case scenario, you have thirty days to see if you like it and want to keep it. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Search/D...used+eden+bass
I got a great deal on an Eden D410XLT a few years ago. I remember Mike Watt making his bleed. They sounded great on the Contemplating the Engine Room tour. Some of the best bass sounds that I have heard.

Some of the best bass sounds that I have heard. | Yeah one of them is 4 ohm (I need 8) and the other isn't specified. Both are above what I'd pay (I think they're both around $600, when they're only 200-250 more new).
I have a 410 XLT and absolutely love it. If I get antsy and give up on the 212 I'll just get a second one. They're great boxes - you can throw as much power at them as you'll ever need to and they really just don't seem to mind. I've BLASTED mine and it didn't fart out or lack for bottom.
I have an Eden WP-100 preamp that I used to use (for sale now actually!). It sounded great but was just a bit too clean for my tastes and my EBS Fafner really blows it out of the water for dirty tone. I wish EBS boxes were easier to get - I've only been able to try a couple and they're hardly ever sold used. They sure do sound great though.

That should be an average price I would expect to find for the Eden used. They still sound great, but lack the "I am new, listen to me" appeal that some other companies have at the moment. Just make an offer, leave your info, and then if they pass, just keep an eye on it. GC doesn't want gear sitting around too long on the sales floor. They start to cut prices to more reasonable prices after a while. Just be patient and you can get a good deal.

Then I'll have an SVT-VR, a Micro-VR, and 12 speakers.

I got a good offer for a Carbon Copy. I'd like to check out an analog delay, since I've only owned digital pedals so far. Is this a good starting point? I'll probably pick it up after work unless you talk me out of it. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
