hey Ron, what's the main difference between the RD Artist and RD Standard basses? just the electronics? after hearing your tone on the Bongripper Roadburn release and a live video of the Electric Wizard bassist using a Standard I'm getting a hankering to satisfy a ridiculously low tuning urge. |

The Artist has the Moog active electronics. The Standard has just standard passive electronics and pickups.
I really like the active electronics in the artist, it adds a nice bite with the "bright" mode and the bass control can add in a nice low end, which I find important to produce the low low end with the F tuning. |
