The first week I had mine the voice coil got frozen in place but Peavey repaired it free, been flawless the 10 years since. I'd pick it up in a heartbeat for less than $150. Don't know about your kiwi-bucks but that seems like alot of money.

I know we're planning on going with a bunch of family and their kids in October. | That was my thought. The only ride that neither park will have anymore, and I will miss dearly, is the Carousel of tomorrow. We found out after we went to Magic Kingdom that it was the last season it waws going to be open and I missed it... Damn. That ride brings back memories of since dead relatives, mainly my dad. Hard to believe it will be 16 years this December.
Wrote a new riff, chorus and vocal harmony. Need to add a few more parts with some concrete lyrics, and we got over an hour!
Less of a chance of running into exgirlfriends/mortal enemies in Cali, so there is that to think about too. Don't get me wrong, I like Disney World, but it does seem like a ton of walking. I read an article online that says Disneyland is about 7 miles a day where DW is 12-14 dependig on what park. Cali has all the MK rides I like. But I will miss that drive in diner place in Hollywood Studios. The veggie shepard's pie is KILLER!

Spend the weekend recording! My boss has a basement studio that rivals 90% of the pro studios out there. He hoards gear like no one I've ever seen. 9 WORKING TAPE MACHINES.
Anyway, drummer and I went over there saturday night and set up the drums, got them mic'd and sounding good. Then we spent 11 hours there yesterday and managed to cut bass and drum tracks for all 7 songs. We're recording to pro tools with a 2" tape backup/2nd copy.
We wanted to track live, but our schedules are all over the place so we have to do it once piece at a time. I'm tired, but the tones are sounding really good and we're going to have killer record when we're done.
Alright, off to work. |

Reservations at lunch for 12. Sit and eat place overlooking reserve animals, giraffes, gazelles, etc. Anyways, we did like one thing, went to reservation (lucky my wife stayed behind that day with baby, made things easier for me), but reservations took forever. Bus to restaraunt. Packed. Messed up order = 3 hours. Got back at 3. Did 3-5. sucked... See, I like Magic Kingdom better. I would have did that 3 days and Hollywood Studios 1 day. Next time you are in Florida, do Busch Gardens. Same animals as Animal Kingdom, better rides. They offer a private safari for like 30 extra a person (last time we went). Do it. Worth it. Best time to go is Octoberish. They have a Halloween thing and the day time is not as hot. So Disneyland = Magic Kingdom, but closer. I'll miss Hollywood Studios, but they got Star Wars!
OK, Doom On! | I lived in Flowida for 4 years, about an hour east of Disney. Loved Universal CIty Walk. But sounds like you all dig animals, if you all make it down to Florida, think of driving a bit more south to Lion Country Safari, that is a cheap and a blast to park your car right in front of a Giraffe. Also any doomers make it to the Richmond area and want a free mini zoo tour, come to my house, my girlfriend and I currently own close to 100 small exotics and a 5 year old boy that wants to be in a shoegazer band lol, loves to turn off and on pedals while I play, I need to male a vid it is a trip!!! Sorry I get stoked when I hear animal love!!!

I am thrown off with my swollen pickle cutting out on slightly fast runs. I also have an El Raton, so kind of have that Rat fuzz thing. Looking for more doom deep fuzz, should I got Bluebeard, Oxbow, or......
Been checking out vids and seems to be Bluebeard is doomville fuzz but vids are one thing and I rather you all's opinions.
My girlfriend thinks the swollen pickle is to funny a name and too pretty a green to sell off so it is now a guitar pedal lol.

The Bluebeard is a completely different animal and if you are looking for a swollen pickle tone the BB will not get you there. |

Strontium Dog rocked too!!! | One time when I was in high school I was down by the river under the train trestle with some friends and I found an ancient Anthrax/Dredd T-shirt. It was full of holes, dirty, had the sleeves cut off and was too small for me but I still took it home.
Bad-ass ****ing t-shirt. It had Dredd from the comic books saying I AM THE LAW.
