For all I know it's been replaced already. Ill get a closer look tomorrow if I can get to the store.
The neck might be a problem. I have a Schecter Stargazer right now. Neck is super thin and fast. And I'm playing some fast stuff right now. Haha
I always had a desire to get a natural Ray though. Never had the $ sitting around. | I don't have a ton of experience with different MM pickups, the original that came with it and the Seymour Duncan Basslines I replaced the original with.
People have gave the GFS MM pickup some good reviews too. You may want to look around at some different reviews as I may not be the best person to provide answers to what you need. The SD was great, though.

Laz...cough...second...cough, cough...dually...cough | The Dually is stupid loud and awesome, kind of amazing to get that in such a small package. It pretty much delivers the same kick in the face as Dixie's 4x15 rig, only with more clarity. Sunn SS vs. Ampeg hybrid power I guess, different flavors, but the cabinetry of both rigs pack a punch. And who buys things new???

It would always eminate a weird smell when I craked it and it was louder than what you would ever really need.
I know, the dually is the best design, but the Yamaha/Sunn 215B design with Kappas will stun animals and small children. My house started moving. Like if you were in the living room, you could feel the floor boards trying to escape the nails holding them down.
You've cranked it already, right? Easy way to kill guitars in the mix, some kappas in a well designed box with some power.

I think most of us here are shadowed by that monster you call a rig. It might as well be a small building, tuned, ported, with wheels and an axle. Tow it up to the gig and plug in to it.

Pretty awesome when Cedric tries to eat the microphone at 2:44 haha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBUtkPrANRs Quote:

The SVT-7 Pro gets louder all the way through cranking the master volume. I've dimed it and plaster fell off the support beam in our practice space. |

Gonna call USSpeaker today with the dimensions/volume of my Sunn 215 and see what they recommend. It donned on me last night I could just pull the Black Widow out of my Peavey combo amp to see how it sounds in the 215. If USSpeaker-man agrees the BW is good fit, and it sounds good, then the Sunn will be loaded with 2 Black Widows and the EV Force 15 that came in the Sunn can go into the combo practice amp. I just want to not use that stupid Crate 2x15 we keep stashed in our practice spot anymore.

You'd never be welcomed back because there wouldnt be any place to go back too.
Having 2 duallys would be like owning a doomsday device.
I wonder if anyone has run 2 before, or who will be the first? It could be you, IT SHOULD BE YOU!!! Quote:

But while I had them in the Yamaha, dear lord. In the Peavey with the triangle ports, nothing. It was half as loud as the Yamaha, not even half. Cab design does matter.
