Yes they are, along with many other states. The best is Oregon, they move to vote on succeeding from the US government but remaining allies. hahaha.....

They apparently mean business, looks like 25k signatures in a matter of hours. They are the only state that could successfully do it; the state its self is the world's 15th richest economy, its not completely land locked by the united states, it has its own state funded military, and its rich in natural resources.

What i think is funny is that SC has two petitions going around, one to succeed and become its own self governing country, the other is succeed and become a sovereign state. Geez just pick one and go with it.

So, do we go in and forcefully take the oil that we already paid for? (the reserves we have) Or do we declare all out war based on their atomic capabilities? Do Texas learning institutions still qualify for Federal Student Loans? It would end up hurting everybody, IMO.
