everything sounds better thru 8x15s, duh. but yes, the matamp sounds great.
what sounds even greater is what mr davis is currently working on that i desperately want now lol. geoff and i both agree, we need one asap, so let me know how much parts are and what kinda box its going in, and im there. even my mom was like "i dont know what the **** that was, but it wasnt good". which clearly means, it was good. |

I'm psyched to be playing the main stage at ROADBURN FESTIVAL twice next year.
Once with Dream Death, Once with Penance. I;ve been a member of both bands thoughout thier long history.
Penance is playing Thursday with HIGH ON FIRE! and many others
Dream Death is playing Friday with Electric Wizard and more..
What a first class organization RoadBurn is....they bent over backwards to accommodate us...we'll never be treated this good again..haha
With this and the Milwaukee Doom fest in June..going to be a busy first half of the year for me..hopefully get to meet some more of you along the way..
Heres some info on Roadburn http://www.roadburn.com/2012/11/drea...rn-2013-event/ http://www.roadburn.com/2012/11/doom...festival-2013/ |

Basically they are a Satanic cult spreading the message anonymously through the best medium currently available; entertainment. They have a story line for Papa Emeritus and all that too but i can't remember it at the moment. Quote:

i didnt directly AB them, and im horrible with describing differences in pedals unless theyre drastic. all i know is it sounded massive and i want one haha.
and i wouldnt say better than a bluebeard (although both geoff and jeff are convinced my bluebeard is different than theirs lol) just another variation on a muff, that didnt have that low end loss like a lot do. the original enclosure he built it in is the best tho haha. |

Definitely not as badass as dunwich's though. Pics are old and bad. I've since installed pickup covers. It started out as a US Masters guitar, they changed ownership and sold off all their in-progress guitars, so I picked this up after it was CNC'd and the binding was installed. I took it from there. |

I just couldn't pass up half-done set neck all-mahogany V with Ebony fingerboard for $100. I wish it didn't have the half-black, half-white binding too, but I can't complain. |

Originally Posted by dunwichamps blade pup in the bridge? im getting some custom wound blades for my LP soon | Yeah, that is a Dimarzio X2N. VERY high output pickup, one of the hottest passive pickups I guess. Neck was a Dimarzio Tone Zone. I've since gone a bit more classic and installed a Dimarzio PAF Pro/Super Distortion combo in this guitar.
I put the X2N/Tone Zone in that Ibanez in the background, but just sold it (with stock pickups) so now I have a spare X2N and Tone Zone laying around. I contemplated putting them in my new Epi Paul, but I surprisingly really like the stock pickups it has. (57 Classic clone, and Burstbucker 3 clone, with coil taps) and prefer to keep it more mellow/low output. The X2N is definitely intense. I guess I'll just need to get another guitar to put these pickups in. |

I start having weird ideas like "maybe I should start an internet radio station that plays doom and other kinds of metal" or "maybe I can start an internet reality show". I know there's a good idea kicking up in here somewhere.
So left 30 dop, just not active enough for me and too far of a drive for pratice anyway. Awesome dudes though and while bitter it didn't turn into a fb war so that's good. Now to center on Conquer the Empire and convince my guitarist to write doomier riffs. Still need a singer, the only decent prospect atm is being weird and I don't think I want to deal with her. We haven't even met yet and she already wants to talk compensation... *** lol.
