Compensation? Run away.

Just keep looking man. We auditioned a few singers and had a rough time of it, until we found our guy.

Just quoting you because it is easier.

This wasn't the low gain muff, it's a different design, not sure on specifics but I'm sire Jeff will come in and explain. It bridges the gap between OD and Fuzz. More importantly it made Mike's mom cuss us out about possibly breaking windows, it was epic.

The low gain muff was cool haven't tried it in the band yet but what's funny is that it sounds best at higher gain settings. Sort of defeating the purpose ha ha

Hahaha. 3 guys in the stoner thread getting yelled at by mom for playing too loud. Sounds about right.

So I was planning to go to a small post-rock show tonight, but just saw Earth and Eagle Twin are in town. I've never listened to either band, and I'm not big into the Sunn-style drone doom like you guys are. Are these must see bands?

Yes. The volume is what makes them so epic.

Get your mind right and go see them. You will have a hell of a time.

Old Earth is kind of Sunn style drone, new Earth (my preference) is clean guitars and creates this awesome atmosphere. Eagle Twin is pretty bad ass as well

Eh think I'm going to skip it and stick with the show I was originally intending to go to. Band from NC I've been wanting to see for a long time is finally playing Pittsburgh so I shouldn't miss it.

Junior Astronomers is the band I'm going to see instead. Their bassist is a TB'er here. Their indie/post-rock ATDI kind of style hits me right in my musical gut. Love that stuff.
