My plan was to stack the 115pro with my older 115(both Fenders) to see how they sound. However, the cabs don`t match up looks wise. Know I know that sounds very OCD-ish but it just looked goofy. So I stacked the 115pro with my 410pro and my 300pro head.
It looks awesome.
Unfortunately now it`s too late in day to rock it out so I`ll have to try it tomorrow.
Total noob question but I don`t feel any shame asking my doom buddies:
I`ve got 2 8 ohm cabs hooked up. There`s a switch on the back of the head for 2/4/8 ohms. I should set it to 4ohms right?

My gear is in the front of my apartment, the "sunroom". When it`s not sunny the room is dim as fvck. I guess that makes sense.
Did anybody see that Eyeballkid is selling off his fender 215pro AND his fender 610pro. I`ve been wanting/lusting/fantasizing/GASing about those cabs for a long time. When I first started playing(way back in 2001) my dream rig was the 300pro matched with the 610.
If only Eyeball was willing to ship those cabs(wink wink, what do ya say old buddy old pal?).
I`d be all over those like diarrhea on silk panties.

edit: i have a favour to ask from some stoner/doom bros - my friend is super poor and wants to buy his own el oso. does anyone have any discount codes for a site like Prymaxe they're not using?

I just burned about half an hour or so jumping from clip to clip.
Good stuff. I grew up in the heart of the land of Death Metal. Florida had tons of death pouring through the Ritz in Ybor City, Tampa!
One of my favorite sludgy riff laden doomy death bands was Obituary. I dug how they were not caught up in the super speed game that was the norm of the day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rE34z7uVjSM

Bought my supporting membership and have a fender passport 500 coming for band practice so we can find a singer. It's a good night!

Most of these are on Spotify. But you're eventually going to want to track them down on vinyl. After listening, steal a car. Drive it out to the desert. An old Indian medicine man will meet you there. Do EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS (important)!. You'll wake up the next morning in your own bed with no recollection of how you got there. But you'll be a stoner rock fan. | Wow, more stuff that I already loved, that I had no idea fell into the genre. Used to love some Melvins and Monster Magnet, back in the day. Looks like I'm gonna have to pick those up again for sure.
Once I get that done, I'll move on with the steal'n the car thing. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
