So, looks like Thom is going to be playing with me after all. Still Valley, Cult Of The Lost Cause, and Headhum. 12/22. Now, to figure out this event thing and invite people...

Lol well I found this as a possible solution for keeping my amp from falling off my cab... dunno if it would work though, plus it is bigger than the top of my cab -_- http://www.walmart.com/ip/ASPCA-Prin...Birds/14977363

| | Yes I'm from GA, but I don't wear a NASCAR T-shirt | | Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Atlanta, GA | | | Thanks Guys, glad You dig My gear. The only goodies that are missing from the line-up are My TB-500, and My Tokai Rickenfaker (minus a bunch of odd random junk, that I keep around for some stupid reason).
Laz: the TB-1000 clip sounds sick. I really gotta dig out some of My old pedals, and start experimenting. Oh yea, I got the goodies to do a headcase for the TB-500 as well (it'll be in the same red HIWATT tolex that I used on the FF cab).
Fuzzbassian: I will find out pretty soon, as of right now I don't think I've ever taken them any lower than 1 step down (D). IMO- The Modern Player Jags are the best bargain without a doubt. The fit and finish, is on par with basses that I've owned that cost twice as much.
I stopped by the Mom and Pop store in My neighborhood on the way home from work and picked up a set of 110-55 Ernie Bull Slinkies(they were on sale $20, so I figured why not). I was also gonna pickup a light gauge 5 string set to butcher as well, but for $39 no way. I thought money would be better spent on a set of Circlek's or something else that would be what I wanted, plus I'm in the experimental phase at the moment.
So I strung up the Rickenfaker, with the 110-55's and tuned it to C#. Luckily, I didn't have to really file the nut, or change much about the overall set-up. So far I like it okay (E string is a bit spongy), jammed on it for around an hour or so. I gotta say, I've sure missed dropped tunings. Opens up a whole new color pallet. |
