Well our show on Thursday last week must have gone over well because we got two more offers for shows before the end of the year.

I feel pretty lucky that Madison has a decent audience of doom and metal fans ready to go. For a town this size, it's pretty amazing. We also fill the doom void that's been open around here for awhile. Lots of good bands to play with, but no one sounds like us. It seems like the locals have latched on to us already, which is a pretty awesome feeling.

Picked up a new Geeter over the weekend. Epiphone Custom Shop Les Paul Traditional Pro. Lightly used for $260! I can't believe how good the stock pickups sound. I was expecting to have to replace them. Both are coil tapable via pull-out volume knobs. Beside the front, the entire guitar is flat black with grain peeking through. Really sexy. I've always wanted a Paul, and was really impressed with the build on this one, as some Epi's can have issues.

Take that 450W with a grain of salt. That's the peak rating, probably more like 375 RMS @ 4 ohms. And yeah, I kind of feel the same way about their amps. I use their cabs and have had no issues. I'm currently running one of their new class-D power amps. I've had it for about a month. I'll report here if it melts down, but so far so good.

Behringer amps? As someone who has owned one, GROSS.

And I managed to snag my Small Stone Nano on TB for $40. That pedal is freaking magic. Anyone who is interested in a phaser, I recommend it highly.

Ever played a Green Russian Small Stone? I've never played the Nano, but just wonder how it compares. I have a nano Holy Grail and love it.

Sounds Great Laz!! Heavy!

You've probably talked about this many time in the past 35 versions of this tread. But, what are you using here for recording?

Superstar recording studio...

I think that having that production might sour you on other studios. Really good sound happening on it.

I like my eh4800 over the nano, if that says anything.

No sorry, I haven't. The SS Nano is the first phaser I've tried. Since it sounds awesome, has one knob and one switch, and was super cheap, I ended my phaser quest right there :P

Thanks! For bass I played my '85 midnight blue Ric through my SVT-7 Pro into my Dually. The Bluebeard fuzz is always on except for when I play clean in the spacey jam part in the middle of Arcane Groves, I used my El Oso + Bluebeard for most of the really heavy riffs, and I use the SS Nano in some parts of Arcane Groves.

No idea what microphones he used. If you're a microphone guy, you can watch the youtube video in my sig to see them. All I know is they were fancy and expensive and I didn't want to touch them

Oh, and btw Laz, tracks are awesome! Love the mix of clean/dirty vocals. I'm more a dirty vocals guy, but this style clean I like!

Should be selling the Warwick tonight, new speakers are purchased, I went with Alpha 15's. I can't wait to get back to 415's, 215's just doesnt cut it anymore...there was once a time I thought 215's would be overkill, not anymore.

Laz, this EP is awesome and your band is awesome! My new music listening is kinda limited cuz i don't have a home computer at the moment, so I listened to it on my phone today on my lunch break, writing while at work. anyhoo very kick a**. I shared your link on my band Burrows www.facebook.com/burrowsct facebook page. if you guys are ever looking to play in CT, with Burrows, let me know and I'll do anything i can to make it happen. rock n roll dude!!!

speaking of new music, i apologize if this was already discussed here, but who is into the new Neurosis album? I love it, they've always been a flawless band in my opinion and this album is a great growth and progression along with what they've always done.

- Matt
