Kickass video.

They do the dual drummers so well, it's ridiculous.

Here, I have it handy at all times. I have never seen them live, but this is what they better play when I do...

Question for you guys. As someone who's never really gotten into the Melvins, what albums should I listen to? I've only ever listened to Nude with Boots in its entirety. I prefer more structured, straight forward rock than the experimental weird ****.
Here's my suggestions:

Houdini
Stoner Witch
Stag
Bullhead
A Senile Animal

Not a huge fan of the Melvins/Big Business era stuff, but Senile Animal is great.

I have seen this video of Buzzo talking about EGC when I was digging around before placing my order. His laugh cracks me up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHSvjS4JQSQ

I never saw that video before, it's awesome! The first time I saw Atomic Bitchwax they did a cover of Honey Bucket. It was ****ing great. I had dragged a punk rock friend of mine to the show who liked Melvins, but not anything stoner or doom-related. He was converted on the spot.

I think the essentials for doom/sludge listeners would be
Pigs of the Roman Empire
Lysol
Bullhead
The Maggot
Gluey Porch Treatments
Stag
Stoner Witch
A Senile Animal
Houdini

But that's my personal order of listening preferance.

Yep I +10000 on Stoner Witch and Houdini for the albums to get you into the Melvins.

I havent seen the Melvins live in about 15years but I think now they are better than ever since they have been joined by Big Brother.
