Eminence 3015 owners, how hard are you on your speakers? I know what my 810's can take (everything ) but I'm kinda scared to really push high volume overdriven amp thru them.

I still wince a little bit when I do it, but I've run the 7-Pro with the bass knob and gain both at 3:00 and completely dimed the master and my speakers take it like a champ. So that's 1000w.

I should add, that is just messing around by myself, and way way way too freaking loud to play with the band haha.

I had the Envelope Filter Pro for a few weeks. The tweakability is really nice in that you can really calibrate it to work well with any pedal or signal configuration, and get the exact amount of sweep/decay of the envelope that you want... that and oodles of different envelope/phaser types. I'd imagine the Distortion settings would allow you to get pretty much anything you need. Into a good amp, it doesn't sound digital at all. The "digital" complaints are probably from those guys who run super-duper clean rigs and crave an analog sound. I only got rid of it because it was an impulse buy and a $100 simple filter or wah is really all I need.

With the cash I got for the Source Audio filter, I picked up a 70's PWB and an MXR BEF off the classifieds. Hoping both arrive this week... I know what sound I want, but not sure if it'll be easier to get from the manually-controlled wah or auto-tracking filter. So I figured what the hell why not buy both.

Btw, anyone wanna buy a Bass Crybaby?

Thanks I'm pretty stoked. Looks like this will be a pretty sweet Christmas gear wise

Quick question. A PWB can function as a volume pedal as well right? As long as the wah and boost are off?

@ampegfuzz Oh and nice board by the way. I really need to get a solid setup for all my pedals. Currently they just reside on the floor.

Did you get the Boost or Fuzz? I'm pretty sure I got the Boost... and the videos I watched on it showed that when both wah/boost were off, its a volume pedal. People hated on it for not being true bypass, but if you get a free volume pedal out of it, why complain????

Does anyone make an RD bas copy? Been craving a big heavy gibson style bass for some reason lately, and I've always loved the RD. But I don't want to pay vintage prices.... looking more for epiphone prices.

Yeah I got the boost. I have plenty of fuzz/dirt pedals already. Last thing I really need is more

Yeah I figured that's how it worked was just making sure what I heard was correct. Yeah not being true bypass isn't that big of a deal especially since it sounds so awesome. And if it's that bad I can just throw it in one of the loops on my LS-2.

I like messing with volume pedals they can be pretty handy. You can do some sweet swell stuff with distortion and delay.

Hmm... unless you can find some illegal chinese copy, I don't think anyone makes an RD style bass in the Epiphone price range.

HAHA!

So I get a friend request on facebook and I'm like TB? Dude has no clue. He's like, do you know Red Giant? It's the guitar player from Red Giant friending me. LOL. Anyways, the new band is called The Great Iron Snake. I haven't found any music for them yet. (maybe youtube, no youtube at work)

I thought it was a cool story...

Also, now my drummer is like, can we play Denver on 12/21? Argh. I want the first show to be local. And the promoter for the venue has had Colorado Springs bands play for exposure (don't know if thats the case here)... I think I'd rather play our first show in town and for some cash...
