Hey congrats Laz! Good to hear that you had a awesome show!
Your Super Void art work and packaging look really fvcking good!
So you`re digging the Tiny Terror then? I was thinking about getting one awhile back. I never got around to it(I bought the 300Pro instead) but it never hurts to have a sweet backup amp.

That was actually probably the best on stage sound I've ever had. I think I just surprised her with how ****ing loud I am. Quote:

Bought the 7 Pro as a backup to the VR and ended up using the 7 Pro as my main amp. Bought the Orange as a backup to the 7 Pro and now the Orange is my main amp. I'll keep the 7 Pro around though. Still a very awesome amp. The Orange is just a little more rock and roll and gets a much better overdriven tube sound that I like. The 7 pro gain stage is like a mild OD pedal, where as the Orange goes to full on crushing gain. |

Haven't gotten much time with her yet… picked up late last night and on shift today… but. Yeah it's a bit darker. Still has a nice growl. Woodier sounding. I think the "new American made p-ups" are Seymour Duncans, they look like the drop in replacements. Neck is slimmer overall and narrower at the nut. Similar profile the the EB3. It just sounds and feels way better. |

I'm planning to get an Ampeg Portaflex with a 210 cab soon. Between that and my Fender Bassman 350 tube amp, do you would that be sufficient for *most* gigs?

If so, should be fine really. Not fun, but fine If you foresee yourself having any kind of gigs where there's no PA support for bass, you may want to think about slapping on a 1x15 with your 2x10, or just get something bigger than a 2x10. |

. | Lol. Yeah. Me and the drummer like it when I have a healthy stage volume. Our guitar/vox grudgingly likes it… his traynor combo sounds great cranked up. I been getting a lot of tone complements now that I'm running my VB2. |

Sorry, I might not have been clear that I would use both amps together (or maybe you did get that and you're still saying I need more speakers haha)
But when I have the money, I plan to add another 115 or if I can find one, a 215 to fill out the sound more.

Not real familiar with Fender's amps. If you're using a combo 115 and a 210 extension cab, I honestly think you would be good for any show as long as your guitarist isn't running some huge rig and drowning you out. |

Had a pretty killer show last night. First gig with the Orange amp. I start to sound check and the girl running sound is like "uhh... how high do you have your amp turned up?" I'm like well it literally doesn't go any lower. The volume knob is just below 9:00. So she's just like well ok then...
After the set she said she realized with our style of music that it is good to have that nice thick and LOUD bass. I don't think she was used to bass players having rigs that loud haha. | That was actually one of the best sounding sets that we've played so far. I really like the way the Orange Terror Bass sounds with our band mix.

Honestly, the batsh*t crazy drummer is a bigger fear. But between the two of them, it's like having Tosin Abasi and Hellhammer on stage with me.
And thanks for the help! Once I get the rest of the gear I'm looking for, I'll try to get some audio up.

I like vintage style pickups. I eventually plan to get another Ric, probably fireglo, and replace both pups with toasters. That'll be one sexy vintage looking machine. |
