Those aren't the most practical guns though, I thought they were cool but didnt know what I'd do with it. I can't buy s firearm unless it has a practical doomsday application... I ended up with a semi-auto 9mm carbine instead. | Yea it's a bit weird, and not much info on them (I think never done gun research really). From what I have read and concluded, Pros are I can have a handgun and share ammo, It's accurate and small and light. I have a small place, don't really need a gun and my GF would want to shoot too and she's 5'. Cons are the shape makes it come with a bit of a learning curve and applications fewer, and the manufacturer is in Brazil and repairs take forever to process.
Read about a few different add ons, and Texas is pretty lenient in what I can do. If allowed I'd want to do a rifle sized stock, be it wood,or wire stock and if I could folding. (similar to an M1 carbine but shorter). Also a red dot, laser or scope would be fun. I like the idea of a small but still long barrel and potential for longer range activities. |

Laws are stronger for handguns, and I think the Rossi is considered a handgun. Adding a stock may turn it into a "short barrelled rifle" which is heavily restricted. As opposed to a long barrelled (16"+) rifle which is barely restricted at all. Then again that Rossi may have a long enough barrel to be considered a rifle, I'm not sure. Repairwise, when I was looking them up, they seemed reliable enough that you'd probably never be shipping it out for repair, so theres that.

His dad was a Sheriff for Dodge County WI, yes, my dad actually did get the hell out a Dodge. I remember the first time I shot it, I was 13 he loaded it with 5 .38's and 1 .357, he put the .357 at the end. So I'm popping the first 5 off with out too much kick back trouble, but when I pulled the trigger the sixth time, my arm basically tears off, and I drop the gun behind my head, over my shoulder.
Good times, great pistol. |

I could never find a distortion that worked with it either.
So I switched to the EBS. I stopped using the Sansamp (they just don't seem to play nice together), but the OD pedal really comes to life with it. Also, the amp's own OD is excellent.
I still use an Eden cab. For cabs I want as clean a representation of the bass, effects and amp as possible, and Eden cabs do that nicely. | The EBS stuff sounds great, i love their OD tone but I don't think I have ever seen one around here. What are the cabs like? I tried an Eden 215, 212, 410 and 210. I can't get over the hi-mid honk...i think they were all XLT models. |

In other news, anyone ever tried dohka? I got some and a midwakh, haven't tried it on it's own, I just mixed some with some trees, and it was the most extreme nicotine headrush I'd ever experienced 10x over. Kind of makes me nervous to try it by itself in the midwakh. |

Took a few listens but I am hooked on the new Witchcraft. I was kinda thrown off due to it not being the same flavor of retro I have come to expect from them but its kinda like they have just kinda progressed from a late 60s retro to a late 70s/early 80s metal retro....kinda. lol http://youtu.be/Nhqv3L_kh6Q |

I own like 5 christmas ornaments, one of them being a Marvel Thor ornament. Her mom says something along the lines of "what does Thor have to do with Christmas" and she got an earful from me about how Christmas is really just an assimilation of multiple pagan practices, which was used to smooth over the transition of christianity or death during the Crusades, so Thor actually has more to do with christmas than most of the other things on the tree.
She didn't appreciate that. |

I made a device that I called the Terminator. It was really mech looking. 4 hoses, giant bell sized "holder", and costs about $40 in home depot parts. It was rad. Had to throw away after kid #1.
