Oh hey Mr Dunwich, do you think that one day down the road there will be that GT pedal thingie you were working on as a rack mountable preamp? Kind of like a better monolith magma?
i was planning on throwing those into small pedals the size of 1590BB or maybe 1790NS. Would not need so much space like a rackmount prewould
however if u want a rackmount preamp of course I do that as well.
I just rewatched Batman Begins and I was so pissed off when I realized the little boy that Rachel saves would later become that twat known as Joffrey Baratheon.
That kid (IRL) will be spit on for the rest of his life. I love it when a character can anger you so much that you hate the actor. I guess that means he's good at it.
I must have missed it but i assume you are looking for something to haul gear in. the problem with those trailers is that they seem to attract attention. they get broken into all the time.
I personally would rather a pedal format. the smaller the better with top mounted jacks and 9-18v operation.
yea top mount jacks with just 9V in. It will have switching supplies to get +30V if i like that voltage then some linear regs and charge pumps to get -+18V
Thom, I can't recommend a certain brand and what not, but Craigslist is often the best place to find that stuff.
Just make sure that your insurance carrier extends liability to a trailer. Some insurance companies will also have an option for contents coverage up to a certain amount. Buy it. Usually only a few bucks to insure your gear too.

yes, trailer for gear. Joe, I couldn't afford a new trailer if I wanted one. To minimize attentions, I thought about getting spray painting something like "Manure Madness- For all of your Manure Needs Since 2001."
I missed the start of the new thread. I got tied up all Sunday dogsitting, we're taking care of my wife's grandmother's Scottish Terrier while she stays in the hospital a few days. The thing was being a little b*stard all day yesterday, didn't get a moment to myself.
I did manage to get a new part written this morning for the song I'm working on. It's the second to last part, right before the last "chorus" (or whatever you want to call the big dumb hook part). Still trying to figure out if it's in the right place or if I want to rearrange it though. I might just sandwich it between two of those chorus parts near the end, haven't decided yet. If any of you have any feedback or criticism on the part or the arrangement, it's welcome. Since I'm doing everything solo, I'm bouncing my ideas off the Stoner/Doom thread, in lieu of band mates.

dont you just want him to die in batman knowing that hes king joffrey? hes the best actor in that show tho, ive never hated a character as much as i hate him. good work little bastard.
Haulmark is the most common trailer we see added to automobile insurance policies. Hope that gets you a starting point.
Speaking of band vehicles, coolest band vehicle was the first drummer I met when I moved here. He had an old '57 Cadillac Hearse with flame paint. It was so awesome riding around in that thing.

If you have some kind of road-side insurance, be sure to check and see if it covers trailers; a lot of them don't.
Aside from old vans, what kind of vehicles do you guys use or see used for regional touring? Aside from pricing the odd used cargo van, I haven't ever really looked into what it would cost to do some regional touring.
Hello Doom thread people. Man new thread already! I'm falling behind... just got word from the wife that my fender passport 500 is there and waiting for me and my dr hi beams for my Traben array limited 5 string came in. It's making the clock go by slower and slower knowing those are waiting for me. Oh, and have a singer coming out tomorrow. Another female, we'll see if she wants to get something going.
Amazed the female response our music is getting. Either chicks dig it or there's just a bunch of females out there bandless and scared off by other bands. 9 female singers have responded, most of them have flaked out, and most of the guys that respond don't have a car and want me to go get them. Sorry, I'm no taxi :P. The search continues...

The Atlas Moth have a "short bus" which is pretty rad.
