Tried to get into them before I placed a Small Stone vinyl order to see if I'd dig them, cause the artwork was cool. Not really my thing.

I thought you said there was a second Crate 215 or something you played with the Carvin when both your sunn and acoustic were out of order...

IMO, When I tried the clean/dirty setup it was cool, but wasn't that much more amazing that just running one dirty, especially if your dirty has a lot of lows. My vote would be run everything out of the acoustic.

Oh yeah, thats my bandmates' spare bass cab, its at my disposal to use but not take apart. Otherwise I would have just done that. And you're probably right on the clean/dirty biamping, I'm going to experiment with em once I get all my stuff finished. I thought it'd be sweet to have one stack playing straight dirty, while another was playing clean with a light phaser/envelope or some other spacey effect on it. More in an effort to mix different tones than to "get clean bottom end" out of my fuzz channel. Thats never really been an issue.

I doubt any of those guys have the money for a long drawn out court battle.

Oh well, I'm excited to hear it. It's not Kyuss, but I can't imagine that it will suck.

True but if they are touring worldwide their representation would have the abilities to do battle if they so desired, they are all ready on retainer. The problem was it was a losing fight, they tried a loophole by adding a word on to the band name, which is obvious to any legal representation and would not have held up in court.

My sentiments exactly.

And Toast, where are those cabs from thanksgiving break? Did you get any progress on them?

...and stop making me drool for a dual rig. I don't want to hear about this stack of dirty stack of clean talk anymore. Giving me some serious GAS over here. lol.

These guys are great. We've played with them a few times. Darryl (their original guitarist) also played in Milligram and is now in Black Pyramid.

Also, I saw that Gozu post. Funny stuff!

Yeah that damn 3M Super 77 aerosol glue is a real b**** to remove, I'm in the process of loosening it with paint thinner and scraping off the excess, once I get all the tackiness off throwing on a coat of black paint n calling it a day. Got 1 cab stripped, 1 more evening with it I should be able to strip the other and get a coat of paint on em. I'd be done this weekend except I'm goin to doom out in Disney World again with my bro while he's still in Florida.

Once I get two 15"s for my incoming Orange I'll be able to bi-amp with my SVT-VR and 810 fridge. It'll be a dual tube rig OF DOOM!!!

I finally got a bite on my SVT CL, but just for trades. Unfortunately nothing I want, need or asked for. The last offer was kind of insulting though. A late 90s Gibson LP Special (dual P90s) for the SVT + $200. Am I way off base or is that not kind of a wacked trade offer? I can buy the same thing new on MF for like $699 right now. I didn't say anything nasty to the guy, he can make any offer he likes, but I'm trying to make money, not spend it.

Thats why 3M makes their General Purpose Adhesive Remover (part number# 08987) It works great, i used it to remove the wrap on some drums i refinished, once it dries (which takes a few days on bare wood) theres no discoloration or any residue on the wood. Also if your going to be putting rattle can paint on there make sure to use a coat of epoxy primer first or it will be a nightmare getting the color consistent.

That's pretty insulting, but par for the craigslist course.

You guys ever know someone that asks for your advice, doesn't listen, does the opposite, then eventually realizes that you were right all along? Wash, rinse, repeat over and over and over again?

It's getting tiresome.
