Got my Iron Pig today.

Now, if I'm going to do a comparison with the Rat Tail, I need something from my stoner dudes.

SETTINGS. Give me all the settings you want me to try (for either pedal).

I've found Hotmail to be dicey at best on Android devices. I'd personally setup a GMail address and configure a redirect from Hotmail to GMail - or set GMail to pick up the Hotmail email via IMAP/POP.
Means moving to GMail for your email, but you get the Android/Google Account integration and less sucky Hotmail.

Never had that issue with GMail accounts on Android before. Were you using the base GMail app or configure it through the default mail app on your phone? How is the Hotmail account setup?

Have only had something similar to what you're describing with iPhones and Exchange accounts...

Soldering
http://www.beavisaudio.com/techpages/How-to-solder/

Good informative article on how to solder. Also the link for the iron from circuit specialist is a awesome iron. Cs1a I believe. I have one and love it. It is also very cheap. A small pair of vice grips should help getting those screws out. Good luck finding pickup screws though. When you get those screw out and some new foam then adjust those pups should be a boy better in volume drop. I bet the bridge pup is higher and a tiny bit of the problem. Also a good set of pups to try would be the wilde p/j set. Great reviews and easy on the $$ new. Next maybe Dimarzio.
Thanks for the info. I have some new Fender pickup screws on the way. When they get here, I will go all hellbent for leather on their asses. And by that, I mean slowly and methodically trying to back those stripped screws out like a kid trying to pick out a toy in coin operated crane game. I am very careful about the threading in the wood. Hell, I even use the same screws that come with the bass when adding straplocks so that I don't risk using a different thread size and jacking up the integrity of how the hardware sits in the body.

If you ever want to play a show in Pittsburgh, I'm your guy.
We're looking to do 3-4 away weekends next year. We were thinking one north, one west (either into NY or PA) and one south (down to Baltimore). We should try to link that stuff up.

Also, if anyone's looking to play Worcester, MA or Boston I can definitely help you out with booking and possibly places to crash.

Practice is done, tried out a singer who was a little less prepared than we liked. Guy has wanted to come out for 3 weeks, didn't know 1 song from our demos and had nothing ready... sang something he knew and skipped words left and right...

Have a chance to possibly get not 1 but 2 band members... trying to decide because it could be a package deal, singer and a guitarist, hrmmm.

I accidentally clicked on the Praise and Worship thread instead of this one. I was like, wow!... look at all the bright new faces... Then I felt as though I had wondered into the ladies room at a bar and hadn't noticed till curiosity of something like a tampon machine wakes you up to tell you, "something is amiss!" I read about two or three sentences and realized that I was in an alternate universe.
