Crazy sub bass there, very Bongripper, it took a second or two for each note to develop and the momentum was like a freight train. My 105's were super loose. |

This will be my first experience dealing with GC used selection online. There was lots of shipping shenanigans post order. I just wanted it shipped to the GC store because I am never around to sign for packages. Well, somehow they though that I wanted it shipped to the store that I bought if from in CA! And the only reason I figured it out was that the status of the order was listed as "ready for pickup at store". And the shipping address was the store I bought it from. wow...
Its hard to tell what the bass looked like from the blurry mug shot, but I figure it was worth two bills to find out. Anyway, we will see.

So, to someone who's relatively new into the Stoner genre and is really digging Blues for the Red Sun, the first QotSA album and Dopethrone: where to next? I got Fu Manchu on my list, but I'm not sure which album I should try first.

Have look at Sleep's Holy Mountain. If you can handle long songs Conference of the Birds by Om is pretty epic.If you're in Belgium, there's a heap of stoner rock bands in your part of the world.
Sungrazer,Colour Haze,Samsara Blues Experiment,The Machine,Casua Sui.Plenty to choose from.
oh,and one cannot forget Age Of Winters by the Sword

Kyuss - Welcome To Sky Valley
These are both better than Blues... in my opinion. I love BFTRS but the last two Kyuss albums with Scott Reeder on bass define THE Kyuss sound.

Into a power amp in 1000W bridged mode, into 2 1x15" cabs. The preamp sounds great and it's $300.00 new. There's usually a few of them for sale on TB.
Highly recommended. |

not sure how it sounds on bass. | I dabble in guitar, too. Just thinking about it at this point. I'm about to have a friend build me some kind of bass fuzz box so that'll probably eat up my small gear fund for a while. |

Wow this Morley wah is huge. Sounds just like early Metallica... the exact same wah tone Jason Newsted has on any of his ridiculous YouTube solo videos. Which not gonna lie, is a wah tone I can dig. Sounds mean as f*** with the Grey Stache in front of it!
Think it needs a bit of a tune up though. Dont know if these every had springs, or were supposed to hold in place, but when you take your foot off it it balances itself right in the middle of wah sweep. Need to install some sort of spring to hold it down when my foots not on it. Power cable's alittle chewed up, nothing some electrical tape can't fix
