and yes, the entire song is one riff and it will be staying that way oh and the bass is pretty low in the mix, but you should be able to get the idea.
Cool stuff man!

ok so what is a FAC/Depth control. It is a rotary control that select different capacitors in a high pass filter. Generally as you go from full CCW to full CW you are increasing the value of the cap which lowers the cutoff frequency of the high pass filter, and thus more low end is allowed to pass. What effect this has on the circuit depends on what the circuit does, for example on a rangemaster if you put a FAC control instead of the input cap you could shape the low end going into the gain stage and thus change it from a treble booster to a full frequency booster.

For me, it is a no brainer. Their first album was great, but each release after that got weaker and weaker. Well The Sword blew me away with Apocryphon. I just can't stop listening to it.
Probably for me it was the new Neurosis album.

Tool's a great band, in my opinion. They're not my favorite band by quite a stretch, but I like them a lot.

Some of their fans can be annoying, though.

Awww thanks bud! I didn't say anything because we're not even remotely doom or stoner, all though I'm sure there's some of our stuff that can be appreciated by those crowds.

Thanks, dude! I was in a band that released a demo back in like... 2005. I consider this to be a "bigger" release just because of how long the band has been around. They've worked with labels like Regurgitated Semen Records and Undislessed.

Ah, I see. I think I get it. So you can adjust it to steeply roll off everything below whatever frequency you set it at?
