its only a 1st order filter so 6 dB per octave roll off. Not the strongest filter since its only a passive one

NAD!!!

Yamaha B100 fer -$27

I think its pretty classy lookin.

That's not a port, it's a sealed combo cab that I took the amp out of.

When I got to the store to trade the "broken" B2R in, it worked, but I always didnt really like it. SO, I still traded it and have some store credit left over for my next set of strings. I played it with an Acoustic 301 that they have over price there, sounded awesome, 70's SS all the way. The distortion isnt very good and brightness just adds some clank and string noise, but I really wouldnt use those much anyway.

When I got home and plugged her in, and it still sounded broken, that's when it dawned on me...I must have blown that cheapo 15 in my cab. My B2R wasnt broken, but good riddance. Next thing I took the speaker out, might not even be blown, the wires may have been touching/crossing.

But the cool thing is, my new to me 18's arent rated for much, I dont actually know, but probably somewhere around 50-150 watts. I dont know the ohms either, still have to figure that out but, this Yamaha only pushes 100 watts, so I'm not too worried about running the 18's with it.

Get the ric and crank the dist lows and volume and dump the high and mids. DOOM!

That Yamaha is pretty cool!

White board for the practice space just arrived from Amazon. Song writing just got serious.

So the speaker wires were just crossed in the cab...I REGRET NOTHING!!!

I lied...I regret leaving my ric and pedal board down at the practice space.

Also for the 18's Ive decided I'm just going to make 2 simple 29x29x12" sealed cabs, in a stained wood style with black mesh grills, to go contrast with the B100.

Album of the year is hard, nothing stood out that much for me. I may go with Laz and say The Sword.

That yamaha amp looks pretty sweet. Just the kind of old stuff that I like. You going to do a dual rig with that and the acoustic power amp?

I certainly could, or I could run all four cabs with the acoustic... but I'm probably just going to keep it as my home rig, a 2x18 practice rig haha.

How about most disappointing album of 2012? It's not bad, but I was hoping for so much more from Graveyard's Lights Out. Hisingen Blues was just such a monster record, I had unrealistic expectations for the follow up.

Can I still use Mastodon - Hunter as my disappointment? Haha. I'd probably say Baroness. I really didn't like the direction they went.

I would say Advaitic songs was a disappointing at first, then a wild fire started, and it became my favorite.
