Oh man. I got into a little back and forth email thing with a dude that runs this site. He said he would be honored if we were a part of it. (is there another Still Valley? lol.)
These are the same guitar drummer from The Great Redneck Hope and Sawed Off. These guys are scene legends and before I started Still Valley, I had hopes of just joining them. Ironic, eh?
Anywho, looks like the scene here is waking up. Or I am waking up... (more likely)
Black lamb and greaseachine were my guitarists last bands before he moved to WI...
Yeah, I played the **** out of Ode to Io and that split back in the day. I think my Ode.. cd is too scratched to play. Damn you drunken, careless younger version of myself. I hate that guy.
Gentlemen, let me present to you my favorite overdrive pedal EVAH!
I went to pick up my Ric (which ended up not being ready) while I was there this thing was staring at me through the cabinet egging me on to try it. This is the overdirve sound i have been looking for all these years. The dynamics are unreal, there is no low end loss, very transparent, the gain knob is useable through the entire range. The tone control is subtle and always musical. Without the bass boost on, it obviously cuts quite a bit of low end but is still sounds like a bass. A bass through an overdriven marshall, instant Lemmy. I love this pedal!!

Saw a couple friends bands last night. The bass player of the Ghostwood Project was using a chambered 5 string fretless bass with a piezo pickup and a bridge position jazz pickup. He was playing out of two Accugroove Tri210s and some american made rack mount amp. He told me but I don't remember.
Not really my type of music but they do what they do very well. I have known them forever plus they have a kick ass name. lol Ghoostwood Project - Martyrs
I broke the needle off my turntable last weekend (might have been a little drunk) but at the same time the needle was about 15 years old apparently.
Picked up a new needle/cartridge today. Makes me almost glad I broke my old one because I swear its like I have a whole new system now. Sounds amazing.

We also have 3 other songs from that show uploaded. Quality is pretty solid.
Solid man, sounds good. I like the lights on your one guitarist's pedal board.
Just got back from a day shopping and stopped by the fallout shelter for a minute. Bands were cool but way too crowded for my taste. Practice tomorrow, gonna take a few pictures and smack my guitarist for posting every little thing we do on reverbnation and facebook it's getting silly.
